Jackson Street Presents

Student ran and produced TV show for High Plains PBS. This show was made to present local talent to the High Plains area and gave myself and other students the opportunity to direct and design a show.

The Impact of Hate Speech

In 2024 members of the Street Preachers organization came to Amarillo College to preach at students leading to a discussion on what constitutes hate speech and the impact it has on campus.

​

This Article won second place at the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association and started discussions on campus for designated free speech zones.

Staying Jazzy with Travis Kemp

Written for the bi-annual magazine at Amarillo College, This article discusses Travis Kemp and his time as the DJ for "Staying Jazzy".

The magazine this article is one won first place at journalism conventions in Texas.
